How To Start An Arise IBO

Updated 04/02/2024

If you have not already, you will first be required to sign up for an Arise Profile at the Arise Virtual Solutions Website.

Once completed and you would like to start an Arise IBO and have other Arise CSPs join your company so your can provide them support and you can earn when they service, complete the following that is recommended by other Arise IBOs. This will provide you a better chance of being successful with your Arise IBO.

Incorporating

Arise requires you to be an incorporated entity (LLC or C Corp), if you would like to recruit other Arise CSPs to service under your company name. The good thing about being an Arise IBO is that you can reside in any State. The restrictions on States is only for Arise CSPs who service a client.

Arise requires companies using their platform to be a valid and existing company, duly organized under the laws of the state or jurisdiction of its incorporation, and in good standing.

We recommend contacting an attorney or using an online legal service to assist with incorporating your new company with one of the United States.

Be advised that Arise does not accept corporations who are partnerships and not-for-profit companies.

IRS Employee Identification Number

Additionally Arise requires your company to have a Federal Employment Identification Number (FEIN) issued by the Internal Revenue Service.

You can get a EIN from the IRS online at:

Company Bank Account

Individual Bank accounts are not allowed when using the Arise network as an Arise IBO. It is required by Arise that you set up a business bank account in the name of your company.

There are many banks out there and you should research each one and reach out to an accountant or other professional if you would require any additional assistance.

Company Planning

It is recommended by Arise IBOs that you plan your company out before taking on Arise CSPs so that you will know how you would like to operate and how you would like to collect your fees.

Most Arise IBOs collect a fee from their Agents as either a flat rate, or percentage per pay period. Other Arise IBOs will deduct a certain amount per interval or per hour from their Agents. You might also have your own ideas of how you will earn revenue for your company. Whatever you choose, it is best to have this ready before recruiting so that there will be no confusion and you can run things with ease.

Accounting

Arise IBOs have different ways in which they recommend running your accounting to track revenue, spending, profits and to calculate what you will pay each Arise CSP each pay period. They also have various ways to track what they will have to pay in Federal, State, and Local income and other taxes.

Most Arise CSPs use an accounting service to assist them as this takes away the task of calculating everything themselves, freeing them to do other tasks for their company.

Some other Arise IBOs advise they are comfortable calculating everything themselves as they have either an accounting background or are great with numbers. Those that do this themselves say they use Excel and then create calculations within Excel to assist them with calculating the fess and pay for each Arise CSP every pay period. They also have Excel and/or other programs to assist with tax calculation and tracking revenue, expenses, and profits.

Independent Contractor Agreement

The next thing Arise IBOs recommend is to have an Independent Contractor Agreement created so your Arise CSPs can read and agree to the terms of your company. Some Arise IBOs also have other things for their Agents to sign such at non-disclosure, privacy, or other agreements. The agreements protects you and your company so it is very important to really consider this step in the process of starting up your Arise IBO.

If you would like assistance with creating agreements, you can use an attorney or online legal service to assist with creating these for your company.

Arise IBOs advise they either send the agreements out and have the Arise CSPs return them when signed, or most are now using online electronic signature services to quickly and legally have Arise CSPs sign the agreements.

Optional Recommended Things by Arise IBOs

Some Arise IBOs recommend creating a domain name with your company name and getting a web hosting service so that you can provide Arise CSPs a place to find out what your Arise IBO has to provide them. It also provides you a dedicated email address with your company’s domain name which provides your IBO a more legit way of communicating.

In addition to creating a web page or if you do not like the idea of a domain and web hosting service, it is best to list your Arise IBO here at the IBO Compare website so that we can provide you a dedicated web page with your company details and place your Arise IBO on the list and compare chart so Arise CSPs can quickly find you. We continue to advertise using outside sources so that we can bring in thousands of Arise CSPs that are searching for an Arise IBO. If you are not on the list, they will not find you or know you exist causing your company to lose out on opportunities to recruit better Arise Agents.
